Scott Pilgram vs the World

Have you have ever ran into some sexy chick with colored hair and you think to yourself  "self, I have to have her." ......Probably not, but someone sure did. And I'm willing to bet that his jaw is still sore after meeting Lucas Lee

I'm of course talking about Scott Pilgram vs the World, the new movie from Universal Studios that opens Aug 13th. I was one of the lucky ones who got to check it out last Tuesday, and I'm glad that pass was handed to me at my local comic shop cause like the slogan says it was An epic of epic epicness. If you love comics, and video games (or like me and enjoy both) then this movie is going to be a hit with you. From the fighting game rock style music, to the great camera and visual effects its clear that so many critics are already saying it's one of the best movies of the year. Check it out if you get a chance. You might even see me there cause I plan on going every weekend for the next month.

Whats up bloggers. I know ive been gone for awhile but im back, and with something new. How many of us horror movie buffs out there feel like its nothing scary to watch anymore? Well put those thoughts to rest because Insidious is here to save us from cheap no fright frights, over use of blood and slashers. Its been awhile since i have "jumped" from watchin a horror film and ive seen alot, but Insidious makes me feel like im a kid watchin Candyman and shittin my pants cause im afraid to turn off the lights or walk inside a dark room. This movie definetly sets up the scares in the best way possible while staying somewhat low budget and using little (if any) special fx or cg. I cant speak on it to much without givin away the plot but just know this. No matter how manly you are or appear to be, you will jump or even look away from some of the stuff goin on in this movie. What good ppl! 1st post in 6Yrs! Wow, I am Jack's crippling sense of consistency. (If you know where that's from hit me on Twitter to enter a giveaway) Hope everyone is doing good. Me, I'm currently enjoying my birthday so that's something...But anyway I'm rambling, the REAL reason why I'm here is my 2 pennies on the latest installment in the MCU Thor Ragnarok. So here...we...GO Thor Raganok or like I called it (I'm sure others did too) Guardians of the Asgard vol. 1. The music, color, visuals, jokes and introduction to   planet Sakaar all felt like it was a guardians movie. I've seen the 1st Thor but not the second and I'm pretty sure that it's not supposed to have that campy, comedy aspect of it like Guardians. Some of the jokes seemed forced but others DID hit the mark. Hulk stole the movie and Hela proved why she was feared. The one major gripe I had is with Hulks voice when he spoke.
