Incredible Hulk #611

Image
Man man man...This comic is one of the few that I have read that has played out like a movie. I started reading the Incredible Hulk books about a year ago, and every one has been good thanx to Greg Pak. He has to be one of my fav writers next to Jeff Loeb. Its funny, because hulk lost his "hulkness" in #600 then got it back in #610. So if you know how comics work then yes, it took close to a year ( if not a whole year) for the real hulk to come back. But he was training his son Skaar the whole time while he was his Bruce Banner, as somewhat of an "insurance policy" incase the real hulk came back. I wont give out any spoilers so just go pick it up and you wont be disappointed. I give this book ****, not a whole five because it could have been a little longer in my opinion.                                                  later

Throwback Album

Image
This is something that I just came up with, doing a throwback album once a week. So tonight I'm starting with D12's 1st offical album Devil's night. Just recently I started playing it again but this time instead of just listing to the beats like I used to do, I was listing to the words. And damn, it was like hearing it again for the 1st time. From the skits, to Bizaar's crazy ass mind, this is one of the best albums I've heard in awhile. Eminem was in his prime, Koniva and Kon artist did some of the best tag team verses since Meth and Red, Swifty McVay just taking every track he was featured on and trying to kill it (the song called Instigator he fucking murdered it, brung it back to life to piss on it and kill it again!) Bizaar being in another fucking world and Proof (R.I.P) was serving heat too. If you are true Eminem fans, (or in this case Slim Shady) and dont have this album then please find the the sh...

Scott Pilgram vs the World

Image
Have you have ever ran into some sexy chick with colored hair and you think to yourself  " self, I have to have her."  ......Probably not, but someone sure did. And I'm willing to bet that his jaw is still sore after meeting Lucas Lee I'm of course talking about Scott Pilgram vs the World, the new movie from Universal Studios that opens Aug 13th. I was one of the lucky ones who got to check it out last Tuesday, and I'm glad that pass was handed to me at my local comic shop cause like the slogan says it was  An epic of epic epicness . If you love comics, and video games (or like me and enjoy both) then this movie is going to be a hit with you. From the fighting game rock style music, to the great camera and visual effects its clear that so many critics are already saying it's one of the best movies of the year. Check it out if you get a chance. You might even see me there cause I plan on going every weekend for the next month. later
